ADF enhances Pacific engagement with Samoa (2.8 mins)
HMAS Choules berthed alongside at Apia Wharf for six days as part of the Australian Defence Force's visit to Samoa in late August, 2019. Members of the Royal Australian Navy Band performed at local events and ADF members visited communities across Samoa. ADF and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) representatives also shared lessons with local police and security leaders during a Women, Peace and Security Summit (22 to 23 August). The engagement builds on the strong foundation and history of partnerships with other countries in the Pacific.
